Fall, 200

Here are the instructions for posting assignments to raven

Mac Users:

1) Download cyberduck at http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/cyberduck.html

2) Open Cyberduck and go to Preferences (under the Cyberduck menu)

3) (Important) Click the Queues tab and uncheck the two boxes that say something about changing file permissions on upload/download

To Log In:
1) Open cyberduck, type raven.dartmouth.edu into the quick connect box, and hit enter.

2) Log in using the username: cc8student and password: [you know what it is]

To post your files, just drag and drop the file(s) into the appropriate folder.

Windows Users:

1) Type the following url into internet explorer:
ftp://cc8student:[the password we sent you, without these square brackets]@raven.dartmouth.edu

For example, if our class password was foo, you'd enter:
ftp://cc8student:foo@raven.dartmouth.edu

Drag and drop to post your files

2) If you cannot use internet explorer and you have your own ftp program, use that instead. Connect to raven.dartmouth.edu and enter the login information

username: cc8student
password: [you know what it is]

3) If you can't use either of the above methods, talk to Patrick.
