When Ticks Become Tones
If a repeating pulse happens slowly enough, we perceive each pulse as a
distinct pulse. But as the repeat rate is increased they start to merge
into a steady tone. The "frequency" of the tone is the number of pulses
per second.
To Do:
-
Move the "Octave" fader slowly to the right.
-
Release the fader to hear the new frequency.
-
Note the frequency range at which the individual pulses merge into a tone.
